If my suspicions are correct, the adventures that include Ireena actually take place in year 528 BC. As a matter of fact, there is no mention of Ireena at all in the timelines. My problem with this is that according to the most canon timeline Tara Kolyana is the current reincarnation of Tatyana in the year 735. It is only during Curse of Strahd that we are finally told that the Ireena story takes place in 735. We also know that Ireena, being the current reincarnation of Tatyana, is a key figure in all that is Ravenloft. TLDR: CoS is just another dream that the characters have while their heads are in jars at Azalin Rex's Castle.įrom the book, Curse of Strahd, we are told that the current year is 735.
